Who we are and what we do

Waggy Tail Woods is around half an acre of private woodland, enclosed with a 6ft fence that’s available for you to hire to enjoy a stress free walk with your dog(s) to yourselves.

The location of the woods is between Cockfield and Evenwood, if you enter Waggy Tail Woods into Google or Apple maps, it will bring you to the layby outside.

Waggy Tail Woods is the only woodland dog park in the North East!​

You get the entire woodland for your sole use during your booking time. The woods are entirely fenced in with stock fencing at 6ft high surrounding.

When you arrive you park on the public layby, walk through the farm gate and the woodland gate is on the right hand side.

Please make sure you're in control of your dog(s) at all times during your visit.

Waggy Tail Woods is a perfect location for everyone. You may need to practice on some training, want to meet a friend for a walk knowing nothing is going to jump out round the corner, have a nervous or reactive dog. Maybe you aren't as quick as you used to be, so take a seat on a bench and enjoy the peace and quiet with your dog(s). From start to end, we want you to be stress free. There are bins, toys, water canisters, agility and soon sensory garden all available to use during your visit.
